Overview

The Useresearch platform integrates with Zoom to facilitate secure, one-to-one user interviews. This guide explains how to connect your Zoom account, schedule meetings, and manage the integration.

Connecting Zoom

  • Navigate to your account settings and click the "Zoom Connect" button.
  • Enter your Zoom credentials through the secure pop-up window.
  • Authorize the connection via OAuth for secure token management.

Using Zoom for Interviews

  • Once a participant is approved, a Zoom meeting link is automatically generated.
  • Both the researcher and the participant can join the meeting via the dashboard or email notifications.
  • Meetings are secured with encryption and optional meeting passcodes.

Removing Zoom Integration

To disconnect your Zoom account, navigate to the account settings under the Connected Apps section and click “Disconnect.” You can reconnect at any time by following the initial setup process.

Security and Best Practices

  • Utilize waiting rooms and meeting passcodes to enhance session security.
  • Regularly review connected apps and access logs for unusual activity.
  • Ensure all communications use secure, encrypted channels.
